We offer half day, full day & sunset private trips on our fast and efficient 27' Glacier Bay, Power Catamaran, ‘THUMBS UP.’ Private charters go where the guests want when they want. A Boat Day your Way or allow our captains to help you customize the perfect day for you.

What to Bring

  • Bathing Suits & Towels (we sell sunshirts!)

  • Non Aerosol, reef safe sunscreen

  • Snorkel Gear (we have a limited selection of noodles for flotation)

  • Snacks/beverages bring soft-sided coolers/bags only please (we have coolers on the boat for your use)

  • CASH ONLY for Fuel (10 gallons per hour of metered run time averages $175+ for full day) 

  • Bring your Music for Private Charters. Sound System with Bluetooth connectivity.

  • Cash for any additional gratuity. Captains Customary Gratuity for outstanding service is 20% of trip's price is added automatically to final taxes & fees section during booking process. 

Rates (start at)

  • 3/4 Day (5 hours) Private Charter for up to 6 people - $850+ fuel US WATERS ONLY

  • Full Day (7 hours) Private Charter for up to 6 people - $975 + fuel US WATERS ONLY

  • BVI FULL DAY up to 8 hours depending onm how long it takes to clear Customs. We depart STJ at 7 and return at 3 plus whatever time it takes to clear back through Customs at 3PM which can be 1-1.5 hours.

  • Add a 1.5 hour sunset to full day: $250 (may amend departure time)

  • Cooler with 10lb bag of ice & cooler (the bag of ice is NOT sufficient to chill warm items—it will keep things iced for the day if already cold)

  • Limited selection of noodles for flotation

POWERBOAT CONSIDERATIONS:

  • **COVID SERVICE RESTRICTIONS/GOVT PROTOCOL: Charter includes cooler full of ice (all due to COVID) we request that you bring your own drinks/snacks beyond what you may order at lunch stop —or— request that we provision on your behalf and we will add the associated costs to your bill the day of the trip** We do sell multi-use cups to limit waste.

  • Gratuity: Service industry standard gratuity of 20% added automatically to all private trips & groups of 6 or more travelling together for public trips even if paying separately.

  • Minimums & Maximums: Our powerboat is chartered for a group of up to 6 as a minimum rate for the given time. You may mix & match on your own if you meet friends who wish to share a boat.

  • Fuel Usage: You can visit the fuel dock with us for best rates, but otherwise take advantage of our pay-for-use charges per-metered-10th-hour. Most half day trips are give or take $125-150 and full day are give or take $175-200+ The further you go, the more run time and the more gas. COSTS HAVE GONE UP—GAS IS MORE THAN LAST YEAR!

THUMBS UP is an open runabout catamaran powerboat. THUMBS UP is 27’ long by 8’ wide with an open bow pit seating area with incredibly comfortable bean bag chairs, a shaded cockpit seating area for 4 passengers and jumpseats in the aft section for the wind-in-your-hair fun. This boat is comparable to Palm Tree Charters boats.

The boat was driven by Captain Stephen from Key Largo Florida in 2019 through the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico on its way home to the Virgin Islands traveling 1200mi in total during the adventure. What a great adventure!
