We offer full day private trips on our spacious powerboat ISLAND DOG.  Private charters go where the guests want when they want. A Boat Day your Way or allow our captains to help you customize the perfect day for you.

  • Cash for any additional gratuity. Captains Customary Gratuity for outstanding service is 20% of trip's price is added automatically to final taxes & fees section during booking process.

POWERBOAT BOOKING CONSIDERATIONS:

  • Gratuity: Service industry standard gratuity of 20% added automatically to all private trips & groups of 6 or more travelling together for public trips even if paying separately.

  • Minimums & Maximums: Our powerboat is inspected for 12 passengers. Private charter rates start for a 6 passenger minimum with guests 7-12 paying an additional p/p rate.

  • Fuel Usage: Trips include fuel for metered 3 hour run time on full day trips and 1.5 hours on half day trips. Extra run time per metered engine hour is $100 for fuel for expanded itinerary options and also $200 extra to extend the trip times by an hour to include stop at Virgin Gorda and the Baths. Therefore please count on a BATHS trip being approximately $300 extra in addition to normal rates. This surcharge is calculated at the conclusion of the trip based on metered hours and any time extensions.

This is an open deck converted dive and fishing boat that is double to triple the size and passenger seating/space capacity compared to some of the other powerboat rental and tour options around St. John. This boat is 12’ wide and has the stability to carry 24 passengers per USCG inspection ratings, but we limit groups to 12 passengers for comfort! This boat is comparable, if not larger passenger seating area, to Juggerknot and Born to Rhumb.

The boat was driven by Captain Stephen solo from Annapolis MD to Florida in 2017 and then with crew Pepper through the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico on its way home to the Virgin Islands traveling 2400mi in total (not straight shot) during the adventure. What a great ocean & seaworthy boat!
